"I wish I could give half stars, it's really a 3.5 to 3.8 It's a cool old school looking burger joint. I was excited to try it when I came to town, as all my friends talk about it often. The order experience was fine, although i did get distracted when in my truck (on my phone) and missed the lady waiving for me to come get my food. The food was packaged as expected from an old school hamburger place. Nothing too fancy fit the place well. However the fries were some of the worst. No seasoning, lots of salt and although I enjoy crinklly fries, these had an overwhelming potato flavor. Thicker fries need more season. The burger was not bad at all. A little overcooked for my liking, very dark, but had a good flavor. The burger I would eat again, but with choices like Whataburger right down the road, idk if it was worth the 13$ for a double"

"Absolutely loved it. We got the steak finger basket (5 fingers, fries, and cream gravy), fried pickles, onion rings, and two (very large) drinks. The fingers were decent, as was the gravy. Fries were perfectly done; the onion rings and pickles (slices, FYI, not spears), were very good. I don't know what the other review was complaining about the pickles for. They were wonderfully crisp, the breading didn't fall off, and wasn't anywhere near being too thick. 2 people who got the most expensive menu item, and added extra sides, and it was only about $30, we could have easily eaten for under $20, and still been miserably full. If you want something good and cheap, this is the place."

"Burgers were really good. Service was super friendly, tots were crispy and cooked to perfection. Also, $16 for 2 burgers, large tots and large drink was super reasonable. They have old school desks to eat at outside too, that was cool. I later realized we could have stopped at Buccees because it was really close but glad we went here instead. Would definitely recommend."

"I had a BBQ sandwich, Krinkle cut fries and acdr pepper. My friend with me had a cheeseburger, wrinkle cut fries and a root beer. We both enjoyed it and remarked how it was just like it was back in the old days. They were very busy for a very cold rainy saturday night, so it's obvious that it is a popular place."

"Great old fashioned hamburger. The service was fast and friendly. Seating is only outside with a few tables or in your car. So be prepared to eat in your car. Large portion of french fries. Overall, a quick little stop in and a great place to eat."

"Burgers are what it's about here, and youneed that in your life. Tots were over cooked, but the jalapeno bites were just right. Stop by and get your fill, you will be happy "

"everything was freshly made before my eyes. The price of food is low cheaper than anything whataburger but way better taste. The combos will definitely fill you up. My new favorite in Hillsboro."
